ETCHINGS ON DISPLAY
AT CLEMIENTS LIBRARY
The etchings of Albert losenthal,
famous Philadelphia artist and en-
graver, are now on display in the
Clement's libr'ary cases. The exhibit
consists of etchings of &tamous Amer'-
lean and British statesmeil, generals,
politicians, aind adventur'er's during
the Revolutionary War.
Tll.- etchings were made from the
original collection of C. E. Hilde-
burn, noted collector in. American
hmistory. Many of the pictures are rar-
ities, the originals found only in In-
dependence H-all, Philadelphia. Ros-
enlthal's drawings are the most com-
plete of its kind, and include such
famous men as Washington, Madison,
Burgoyne, Lafayette, and many
ctheu's. 'Theire are about 200 pictures
in the exhibit.
