Farrell is Optimistic.' Despite the fact that he has nt lettermen and no stars among his can didates; the Wolvejine coach believes that the men will develop into a well balanced team before the season i over. As the Wolverines Conference schedule does not open until the end o next month, Coach Farrell has four weeks for preparation. Blues Are Winners In First Grid Game (Continued from Page 6.) The pass game took the lead again when Puckelwartz hurled to Harrigan for 25 yards. The third"Blue 'touch- down followed when Puckelwartz passed to Oosterbaan across the goal line. Puckelwartz' kick was then blocked. Vic Domhoff, who had warmed the bench during most of the game went in at this time and showed bril- lantly. After running back a ki*- of, he later intercepted a Red pass and ran 80 yards for a touchdown to com- plete the scoring as the game ended. Qn this play six Blue men immediate- ly formed interference and put on an exhibition of blocking that would do credit to a championship eleven in midseason. JLUES POS. REDS Oosterbaan (Capt.)
