IIAMILTON--GCeorge IHauser, Second !Tea,-w; ro)ieet in curtai In Major Event TO PLAY WABASH PA S)~. oTeDiy TWICE, BLOOMINGTON, Dec. 14-Indiana university will be one of the first Big Ten teams to try out the double- header systemn1 here next Saturday night when Wabash college comes to Bloomington. T'he second teams of' the two Hoosier schools will clash in a curtain raiser with the first string- ers battling it out in the main at- traction. Any player who participates in the first tilt will not be eligible for the second game. Wabash has been feared by Big Ten teams for several seasons. The Little Giants have met several Weat- ern Conference foes and on several occasions- have come home thne vic- tor. The invaders have a quintet this 1 year which comies near rivaling the "Wonder~ Five" of a few years back. Coach Dean's team will not be in excellent condition for the tilt. The Indiana coach has found it difficult to get acquainted with the intricate rloor habits of his men due to the new ma- terial available. MEXICO CITY-Claude M. Butlin, an Englishman, won the open golf championship of Mexico for the sec- ond time. (Continued from Page Sixy dual competition. Little is known con- c~erning the calibre of the Violet swimmers. The concluding meet of the trip wvill be with the Washington Swim- ming club on Dec. 22. Th1is meet is being sponsored by the Michigan alumni in the national capitol. P'ar- ticular significance attaches to this meet as Washington is Capt. Darnall's home. Mark Coles, captain of Brown uni- versity's tank team last year, will swim for Washington in the 50 and 100 yard free style events. Noyes, the captain of the 1927 Chicago team, and Wirkjes, Navy captain in 1923, will also compete in the free style events. I Aiver- #ITHIS'THIS a COLOSS CLOSS Col- AT 3 P.M1.
