ment of geography attending the
meeting of the Association ofAmner-
scan Geographers being held during
Chriistmas vacation at Nashville,
T'eran., the I1nivor. it y of Michigan will
have one cf the largest delegations at
the convention. Three of the mem-
l(ers of the party will present papers

rec(,nt years. Prof. Kenneth C. Mc-
1i'.lrry will be on the committee in
charge of the field expedition that is
to beC conducted into the Nashville
basin of Treunesse.
Prof. Preston F. James, whbo with
Prof. McMurry are the only members
of the society, will present a paper
on the Blackstone Valley of MNassa-
chusett s and _Rhode Island where hie
has been currying on research for the
