Senate Council:
Owing to the unavoidable absence of the President, the meeting of the
Senate Council announced for Monday, November 14, must be postponed.

Untiversity Senate:
The first regular meeting of the University Senate for the 'year 1927-1928
will be held in room C, Law Building, on Monday, November 21, 1927 at
4:10 p.m.
Order of Business:
1. Report and announcements by the President.
2. Annual report of the secretary of the Senate Council.
3. Memorial to the late Dean Alfred H. Lloyd.

University Lectures:
Dr. Dixon Ryan Fox, Professor of American History in Columbia Univer-
sity, will deliver two University lectures in the Natural Science auditorium
as follows:x
Wednesday, November 16, at 4:15 p.m., "Refuse Ideas and their Disposal."
Thursday, November 17, at 4:15 p.m., "Culture in Knapsacks; the thoughts
of European Soldiers in America, 1776-1783."

The mid-semester reports on engineering and architectural students in
your, classes whose work is below passing should be made on cards which may
be obtained in the office of the secretary, 263 West Engineering Building, or
from the messenger boxes. These reports are to be filed in the secretary's
office not later than Saturday, November 19.

A tentative list of seniors for February and June, 1928, has been posted in

Members are reminded that by a vote of the Club they are requested to
present reprints of publications annually at the Novmeber meeting.
