These general features were de- cided by the committee which worked last spring, and this new committee authorized by the University Senate and now at work on various specific phases of the problem will consider chiefly the problems of the promo- tion of students from the University college, the question of the nature of the curriculum, and the choice of the faculty. It is President Little's intention that very serious consideration will be given to all three of these problems, and the faculty for the new unit will be chosen from the members of the various faculties on the campis at present. If the committee reaches an agree- ment as to these three things before next fall the matter will be submitted to the Board of Regents for its ap- proval and the new project put into operation with the opening of school in 1928.
