A motion pic- ture, prepaied by the 'United States' Bureau of :Mines, in co-operation with the Air Reduction Sales Company, will demonstrate the above scientific top- The film is thought to be of pat:- ticular interest to anyone wishing to become acquainted with the oxyacety- lene torch, as it includes demonstra-! tions of the manufacture of acetylene, gas; how the high temperature of 6300 degrees F., which is necessary to the operation of the torch, is produc- ed; how steel and cast iron are cut; how oxygen 1 res holes through steel; how the oxydlcetyleife torch is adaptedi to mechanical cutting and welding; and how welding and cutting ?era- tions of great economical value are performed in some of the country's greatest industrial plants, and rail- road shops..
