The Woman's Research Club will meet in Room 8173, Natural Science
Building, Monday evening, April 4, at 7:30. D~r. Caroline Robbinis will
speak on the subject, "A Journey into Muscovy in 1665."

University Lecture:
Professor Hans Nachtsheim, of the Institut fur Vererbungsforschung,
Landwirtschaftliche Hochschule, Berlin, Germany, will lecture on "The Re-
lation of Genetics to Animal Breeding" (in English), at 4:15 P. M. Tuesday,
April 5, in Natural Science Auditorium.

To Students Having Library Books:
1. Students having in their possession books drawn from the Univer-
sity Library are notified that such books are due Monday, April 4th, before
the impending Spring vacation, in pursuance of the Regents' regulation:
"'Students who leave Ann Arbor for an absence of more
than a week must first return all borrowed books."
2. Failure to return books before the vacation will render the student
liable to an extra fine.
3. Students who have special need for certain hooks between April
4th and the beginning of the vacation may retain such books by applying
to the Superintendent of Circulation on or before April 4th.
4. Students who have special. need for certain books during the vaca-
tion, will be given permission to draw these books, provided they are not
in general demand, on application to the Superintendent of Circulation
after April 4th.,

in the Lane Hall at 3 P. M. Mr.

School of Education Faculty:
There will be a meeting of the faculty of the School of Education on
Monday, April 4, 4:15 P. M., Room 109 Tappan Hall. A. S. Whitney.
University Women:
Physical Education classes for the Outdoor Season begin work Wednes-
day, April 6th. Students report, in street clothes, to instructors at regular
class hours on Monday and Tuesday to sign up.

Mrs. Stewart Hanley will be here Tuesday afternoon for special coaeh-
ing in golf. All girls who have been taking golf please report at that time,
If the course and weather are satisfactory report at the University Golf

Civil Engineering Students:
Professor John S. Worley will lecture in Room 411"West Engineering
Building at 9 A. M. Monday,, April 4th, and 9 A. M. Tuesday, April 5th on
Transportation. , His lectures this month will be American Engineers on
Monday, and English Railways on Tuesday.
All members of the senior Civil Engineering class are requested to at-
tend. Classes in all Civil Engineering subjects scheduled at these hours will
be dismissed. Students taking work in other departments 'at these hours
musi arrange for excuse in the usual manner, if they desire to attend.

will be shown in the lobby of the East Engineering Building, Monday, April

Remain In Michigan
Debate Eliminations
As a result of the debates Thursday
and Friday in the third elimination

series between members of the Mich-
igan State High School Debating
league, there are now only eight high
schools left in the running for the
state championship. Only two more
series of elimination contests remain
to be held. The schools, as yet un-
defeated, will meet Friday, April 15,
in the next of these series, and the
four winning schools will then parti-
cipate Friday, April 29, in the lasts
forensic contests before the cham-
pionship debate in May.
G. E. Densmore of the public speak-
ing department, and manager of the
Michigan High School Debating
league, has announced the schedule
of debates for the fourth series of
elimination contests. Custer's af-
firmative team will debate Rogers
City's negative team at Custer; Al-
bion, taking the affirmative, will meet
Nashville at Albion; Roseville will
uphold the negative against Milling-
ton at Roseville; and Ann Arbor will;
take the affirmative and entertain
Plymouth here.
