WILL AWARD TWO PRIZES Sororities and dormitories on the Michigan campus have recently made known their respective plans for the booths which they as groups, will conduct during the Penny Carnival which is scheduled for Wednesday March 30 by the Women's Athletic As- sociation. The carnival, which is the first affair of this type ever to be pre- sented at Michigan, will be conducted for the benefit of the Womn's league. If it is a success, the committee in charge hopes that it will become a tradition. At the present time plans for the organization booths stand as follows: Kappa Alpha Theta will conduct a fish nond, Phi Gamma Mu a bean bag booth, Delta Gamma, a booth for for- tune telling,. pha, Phi a shoe shining parlor, Phi Sgnaigma a swimming meet, Collegiate Sorosis an ice cream stand, BetsyBarbour house, a photo- graph booth. ZetaTau Alpha a side show booth,, i. Omega a trip around the world, Ap is Gamma Delta, a stick candy booth, Helen Newberry res- idence a hot dog stand, Kappa Delta a Bar and a shot at the nigger baby stand, Theta Phi Alpha a puppet show and Kappa Kappa Gamma a penny peep show. A number of the remaining organ- izations have not as yet submitted their plans tp the carnival committee. A prize will be given to the booth having the most original decorations and also a prize will be given to the booth which takes in the most money, Possibly the greatest attraction of the entertainment will be the dance -which is to be held from 8 to 10 o'clock that night in Sarah Caswell Angell hall, Its form will be that of a. jitney dance, andfive cents will b charged for every dance. The sophomores played an excellent game and were in the lead at the end of the half; the seniors, however, on ac- count of their superior passing won the game by a score of 27 to 18.
