Truettner, t of the buildings anegrounds depart-S met, says that the heating and ven-) tiltion will be taken care of by thatjn department. The light and heat tun-b nel is now in the process of construe- ! tion.h The new Museum, at the interse- tion of the North University eten- i sion and Washtenaw, and directly t across the street from the new Md-. ical building, will bear a distinct re- semblance to the new Medical build- ing, except that the Museum' interior will be more elaborate than that of the Medical building. Albert Kahn, well known Detroit architect, who has done a great deal pf University work, including Cle- ments library, Angell hall, and others, designed the new building to harmon- ize with the new Medical building. Contracts for the construction work have been given to Spense Brothers of Saginaw. WESLEYAN GUILD PURCHAS ES LAND After five years occupancy of Wt- ley hall by Methodist students, the Weslary foundation of the Universityj of {Michigan has completed the pur- chase of the property upon which the building stands according to H. M. Slauson, treasurer of the foundation. The purchase includes all the prop erty facing ast Huron between the First Baptist church and State street to the depth of 65 feet. jn securing their new holdings from resbyterian organizations, the Methodists, states Mr. Slauson, are assured of a perma-j ent center in Wesley hall with the ps- i sibility that the future will see the erection of a new and larger home for student activity. Westminster house, now housing girl students, will be unaffected at least for the present school term, Slauson averred, although i may be converted into a rooming and board- ing house for Methodist girls at "a lat- er date. FRANCE HAS HOPE " OF BALKAN PEACE (By Associated Press) PARIS, March 24-France is hope- ful that the latest Balkan dispute, which arose over Italian charges that Jugo Slavia had mobilized troops along the Albanian frontier, will be settled definitely and peacefully by di- rect diplomatic changes between Rome and Belgrade. It is not yet known here whether Italy .till accept Jug Slavia's offer to Hermit ani inquiry into the ,situation along the frontier. But the fact that calm has prevailed there yesterday and today, has increased hopes that the situation is out of any possible danger, although dispatches from Va- breg, Jugo Slavia, report Italian troop movements in Istria.
