Because they arel designed from examples of old Chinese art by real Chinese artists of highest rank. Not, as is the case of most commercial rugs--in the American studios of importers, by Americans. That they may be more readily appreciated and because I feel that nothing that can be printed about the rugs will convince people of their quality and beauty as will the actual rug itself, I am going to give the buying public the money I would otherwise use in advertising by pricing twelve 2x3 ft. rugs at $18.00 each, and twenty-eight 2x4 ft. at $24.00 each.
