that the Knights of Columbus have
sought to embroil the United States
in a war with Mexico were renewed in
the Senate today by Senator Heflin
of Alabama.
Replying. to a speech delivered at
a Knights of Columbus meeing here
last night by Joseph Scott, a Los An-
geles lawyer, the senator said that the
meeting itself was an evidence thatj

speech that he was opposed to war,
