One will be locat-1 ed at Camp Custer, Battle Creek, and ' the other at Fort Brady, in the Uipper :peninsula; accordlin gto information1 given out b~y the headquarters at Chi-! ,cago. Camp Custer will open July 7~ and close on August 5. The training; camp at Fort Brady is expected to bej open during the entire month of Aug- ! u'st. The date for the opening of enroll- ments in Michigan will be on March 1, according to Col. Raymond Sheldon, who will be camp commander. The ap- pointment of chairman for the various counties of Michigan is being accom- plished rapidly, Col. Mills states, and each county in Michigan will have a county 'chairman, committeemen and medical examiners by March 1. Therej will be a number of scholarships inj several schools and cogeges to be competed for at next summer's camp, and in some schools, R. 0. T. C. credits are given all those who attend camps.' Any boy living in Michigan between the ages. of 17 and 24 years, who is of substantial character, is physically sound, and has the permission of his patents or guardian, is eligible to re- ceive 30 days training.
