Dr. Fritz Paneth, Professor of Inorganic Chemistry of the University
of Berlin, will lecture on Thursday, February 3, at 8:00 11. M. in the
Chemical Amphitheatre, on the subject "The Use of Radio Elements as
Indicators."

Another change has been necessary in the (late of the postponed faculty

Dr. John .Johnston, Professor, of Physical Chemistry, Yale University,
will speak on "Some Criteria of Purity of Organic Compounds" oin Friday,
January 28,at 4:15 P. M,, Roaml 165 Chemistry Building. The lecture will
be of interest to students in chemistry, chemical engineering and physics.

Zoology Journal Club:
The Zoology Journal -Club will meet Thursday, January 27, in the
Natural Science Building, in Room 242 at 7 :30 P. M. Professor Shull will
report on The Effect of Light on the Wings and Sexual* Reproduction in
Aphids and Professor Reighard Nvill describe some of his Experimental
Field Work on Secondary Sexual Characters in the Brook Lamprey and
Horny Head and their Relation to Selection Theories.
