THE MICHIGAN DAILY'__ r1 * Q, INCLUSIVENESS O STRESSED BY LI "All women enrolled in the Univer- sity are automatically members of the Women's league," was the statement made by Evelyn Murray, '27, in an in- terview yesterday. "This fact is often ignored by upperclassmen and is apt to be lost entirely by entering women," 'she continued. "The organization of the League embraces every activity1 of women on the campus. It is not I 'an empty organization depending' F ORGANIZATION EAGUE PRESIDENT .1, upon its form; it depends upon every member. It's members are the lea- gue." It is important that all new women realize the inclusiveness of the League and the fact that they can find occupation in any branch of the work. This year will be an unusual- ly busy one because it is the last year permitted by the regents in which to complete, the fund for the new Women's league building. The i center of interest will be the life membership drive and the many pro- ,grams and parties of the undergrad- uate campaign committee. The com- mittee signed a pledge last year for a total of $25,000 to be raised during the present school year. Miss Mur- ray concluded her outline of the work 'of the Women's league by saying, "We hope that no one will be con- iU GOODYEAR'S The Mary Louise Gift Shop in the Arcade, welcomes you all Ann Arbor and is ready to serve yOu any time. to at i vTFF -and all their folks extend a hearty welcome to you thousands of students who are returning to "Michigan" and to the thousands more who come for the first time- Goodyear's is a pleasant place to shop.
