Mr. Charles Hurry, a Michigan grad- uate of 1900 and at the present time the secretary of the World Friendly Relations board in New York City, will speak on "Friendship Between Nations." Mr. Hurry has been special- ly procured for this occasion. Prof. Edwin Goddard of the Law school will discuss "American Thanksgiving Cus- toms." As entertainment after the dinner. Miss Kumal Arlick, '28, of Delhi, India, will sing and the Chinese Stu- dent orchestra will play. :More than .275 guests are expected, mr aking this the largest gathering of foreign students during the year. To Give Prize For f Best Circus Poster All women who have any ability along the line of poster making are urged to hand in a poster for the Sophomore circus, which is to be held Friday and Saturday, December 3 and 4, in Barbour gymnasium and com-) pete for a $10 prize. The date first set for the handing in of the posters was November 20, but has been postponed until Wednesday, November 24, on account of mid- semester examinations. All posters to be entered must be in by that date. They must include on them the date of the circus, Barbour gymnasium, the name of the event, and the admis- sion, which will be fifty and twenty- five cents. Women's league project in their bud- get for this year. New pledges from scattered groups are being received daily at the alumnae council office, those for yes- terday amounting in the aggregate to more than $500. Also many small groups of Michigan graduates are organizing into alumnae clubs so that they may bend united efforts toward; the success of the drive. Word has come recently from Grand Rapids that the Misses DeLano of that city have pledged $1,000 to the League fund. Both are interested in the progresses of Michigan women. All intramural managers must have their entry blanks for the swimming meet in today at the Physical Educa- tion office. There will be a meeting of Pegasus at Barbour gymnasiumat 4 o'clock today. Girls interested in writing music for the Junior Girls' play who did not report yesterday, meet at 3 o'clock to- -day in the parlors of Barbour gym- ' nasium. The meeting of the sellers for the Bazaar has been postponed until next week at 4 o'clock Wednesday, Decem- ber 1, in Barbour gymnasium. Any woman wishing to sell articles at the Bazaar who have not been able to sign a chart, are requested to call Margaret Parker at 8817.
