Saturday it plays Yale and closes its season.G Having broken relations with Har- vard, Princeton will be a competitor for a Big Three title for the last time. Harvard and Yale meet next week. Coach Bill Roper of Princeton is smiling. "I am not much on this prophesying business," he said, "but I think we'll have a hard, interesting game. I don't see why the team should have'a let down. There have been no evidences of over-confidence, and all we ask is clear, cold weather." Yale men were heartened today by news that, two star backs, Bill Kline and Larry Noble, might take part in. the conflict at the Palmer stadiumf Princeton. Kline, who was called away- by the death of his mother, isI expected to rejoin the squad Saturday. Noble, the team's most brilliant ball carrier, gave indication of being suf- ficiently recovered from injuries to play at least part of the game.- Poach Tad Jones is uncertain of his starting line-up. During the last week he has been using two players in the backfield who never before have open- ed' a game for Yale-Holabird and Failing. Jones indicated that he was satis-+ fled with the forward wall which has been held intact since the shake-up after the Army game.! Slagle, Princeton's backfield ace, has' polished off his booting the by hoist- ing a lotSof drop-kicks. The team in1 a practice has had the same line-up that downed Harvard. Army and Notre Dame meet Satur-; day in a colorful intersectional strug- gle at the Yankee stadium involving national supremacy. There are signs of an eleventh hour changes in the Army line-up. Notre Dame's chances were con- sidered improved by announcement that O'Boyle, fullback, and Smith, right guard, would be in physical trim. Hope for a dry field was voiced by Coach Knute Rbckne. Georgetown will be called upon to crash through Navy's strongest line- up. Coach Bill Ingram announced he' would have Caldwell, Hannegan, Hamilton and Goudge in the backfield, while Osburn, Navy's best center, will replace Hoener in the line. FOOTBALL GAMES.
