Dr. A. E. Lowe, Lecturer on Paleography at Oxford University, will giva
a University lecture on the subject "How the Classics Came Down to Us"
on Monday, November 15, at 4:15 p. in. in Natural Science Auditorium.

The Dictaphone Station, located in 101 South Wing, University Hall, is
established for the use of all faculty members. All work which is of a
purely University character, such as correspondence, lecture notes, lecturc
topics, etc., is done gratis. Dictation, if brief, may be given directly to a
stenographer. Give the station a trial.

Freshman Lecture in Hygiene:
The Second freshman lecture in Hygiene for men will be given in
Waterman Gymnasium, Thursday and Friday, November 11th. and 12th., at
3-4 and 5 p. m. This requirement includes all freshmen in the regular
physical training classes and others that. have been excused from thesc
classes.

with an estimate of the number of pages in each bulletin and the earliest

The meeting of my Freshman Group which was scheduled for Tues-

There will be a meeting of the Interfraternity Council today at 4:15

Students Interested In Flying:
A U. S. Naval Aviation Reserve Unit will be organized Thursday night,
Nov. 10, at 7:30 in Room 1042 E. Eng. Bldg. The unit is open to all stu-
dents of the University, and University credit will be arranged for certain
subjects.

Physics Colloquium:
The Physics Colloquium will meet at 4:15 p. m., Tuesday, November 3
in Room 1041, New Physics Building. Dr. E. ilulthen will give his second
talk in the series on the Hydride Spectra of the Alkaline Earths. All inter-
ested are cordially invited to attend.

Regular meeting will be held in Room 3201 Angell Hall, on Tuesday,
November 9, at 8 p.m. Prof. G. Y. Rainich will present a paper, "On the
Theory of Curved Space-Time." All persons interested are cordially in-

University of Michigan Rifle and Pistol Club:
The University Rifle and Pistol Club will be discontinued. Tphe final
meeting for determining disposition of funds and property will be held
Tuesday evening, November 9th, at 7:30 P. M. in the R. O. T. C. Building.
All members are urged to attend as there are several matters of importance
to be discussed.
