Pr ospects for forming a section of
the United States Navy Air Service
Res&rve corps among [lhe students of
the University, will be dliscussedlby
Lieutenant Charles D. Williams. of1
the engineering staff of the Aircraft
Development 'company of Detroit, a!,
the meeting 'of the Aeronautical so-
ciety Monday night at the Union.
According to present plans, thc
training of students for this corps~
will consist of two years work in tho
ground school, lectures, and one s1un1-
mer camp of 45 days. The summnerI
temp will give the student actual fly-
ing experience, and will probably be
held at the. naval field in Chicago.
If a student then passes his examina-'
tions successfully, he will be given ai
commission in the Air Service Reserve
corps of the navy.,
