Honors Convocation:
The annual Honors Convocation will take place in Hill Auditorum at
11:00 A M. Wednesday, May 5. The Reverend Lynn Harold Hough, of De-
trot, former President of Northwestern University, will deliver an address.
In accordance with past custom, University classes, with the exception
of clinics, will be suspended for the hour of the convocation in order to per-
mit the attendance of students and faculty.

University Lecture::
Professor Andres Osuna, former Director of Public Education in the
City pf Mexico and ex-Governor of the State of Tamaulipas, Mexico, will lec-
ture upon "Present Phases of Mexican Affairs" at Newberry Hall Thursday,
May 6, at 4:15 P. M. The public is invited.

University Lectures:
Sir Frederck Whyte, until recently President of the Legislative Assem-
bly of India, will give three University Lectures, as follows:
(1) "England's Outlook: Political and Industrial"
(2) "The Political Awakening of Asia"
(3) "Nationalism and British Rule in India."
The lectures will be given, in the above order, on Tuesday, Wednesday,
and Friday, May 4,5, and 7, at 4:15 P. M. in the Natural Science Auditorium

The annual meeting for the election of officers and transaction of busi-

Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering: Lloyd's Register Scholarship:
A scholarship of $500 per year for three years is awarded by the above
Society on the basis of the work of the Freshman year in the College of
Engineering, to students who intend to follow this work. Those wishing to
enter for the same will plase leace their names with the undersigned be-
fore the end of this semester.

up for debate is, Resolved, "That the entrance of women into the learned
professions be viewed with alarm." This is one of the questions which will
be debated by the Michigan team now enroute for England. Visitors are
