Iehtinig Contests TH REE AT EACH CONTEST} As an aid to the present State High School Dcb ating league program, G. E. Densmnore ha s.sent out more than, 50 University students to act as judges in three dlebates of the league's preliminary series. For eachi debate, M1r. Densmore has sent 30 students to; Detroit to judge the matches there, and mor'e than 25 others to other towns, ranging in distance from as far north as Bay City to as far south as the Ohio border. Each of these student judges is sel- ected 'by Mr. Densmore because of previous college debate experience, and three are senit to judge a single de- bate. *The design for the wall plaque to be given to each of the schools enter- ing the elimination series has been ap- proved and will consist of a bronze plate, modeled after the University seal, mounted on a mahogany shield, and enscribed with the name of the high school team and its individual de- baters.
