The larger the profit on the new car, the larger the chance the dealer
can take on his prospect's used car. When we take in a used car on a new
Chevrolet, if this car is not in good mechanical condition and if we find that
there is anything wrong with this car, such as poor tires, noiy motor, or
anything that is detrimental to the car's performance, we immediately send
this car to the repair shop and whatever we find that is necessaryto be done
to make this car give satisfactory performance is at once taken care of.' If
the tires are nearly worn out, they are replaced with new ones.
We will admit that this is a large expense to us to start with, but we
profit by reconditioning our used cars in this way. If you buy a used car of
us and you find it is exactly what our salesman tells you it is and that it
will go out and give you new car performance and stand up for you, you
will come back and buy of us the next time, or if you 'have any of your
friends thinking of buying a car, we know that you will recommend-that they
purchase their car of us also. This is the way we get repaid for the money
expended.
Read this list of four of our used cars, any one of which yu can buy
with the utmost assurance that you are getting the best buy for your money
that you can expect. Any of these cars can be purchased on the General
Motors time payments plan, which is a used car or cash equivalent to 40%
down, and the Balance on long, easy monthly ternis.
1925 Chevrolet Touring car. Very good top and curtains; in -fact,
this car looks like new. This has a new set of siberling co ds, 'motor that
is right in every way. This car will give you the same perrane a
new one. We have a price of $350 with $150 down and the-balance easy
payments for a year.
1924 Chevrolet Touring. This car is going to be sold for, the repair
bill that we have on it, as it is a repossessed car. The price we have<on
this car js $150, with $60 down, and the balance easy monthly payments.
1923 Chevrolet Touring car. This car has a set of $25 bumpers on
it, $15 locking steer wheel, 1926 plates. These items cost $50. We are
selling the whole car for $60. Motor needs bearings taken up and valves
reground. Do your own work and save the difference.
1924 Chevrolet 4-Passenger Coupe. This coupe formerly belonged to
Dr. Wile and was used just as a car to go to his office with. Has less than
10,000 miles and is in very good condition throughout..See if you can
