Literary Societies
Postpone Debate
The Athena-Portia sophomore de-
bate which was scheduled to take
place last Tuesday night has been
,postponed and will be held on April
' 27. The question to be debated by the
two societies is "Resolved, That the
Board of Regents should adopt the
proposed changed curriculum for wo-
men." The members of Athena will

uphold the negative side of the ques-
tion and those of Portia the affirm-
ative.
.This debate is an annual event be-!
tween the two societies and is the sec-
ond of a series of three debates de-
ciding the possession of the silver lov-
ing cup which the Athena society has
held for three consecutive years.
