Forsythe, director of the Health service. "Grippe is very contagious," he con- tinned. "There seems to be no way to control it. However we have been unusually free from complications of any nature, aird, with tlje prpper treAt- :mnent the disease does not last for' Imore than three or four days." . j Doctor Forsythe: would ' urge ally students w~ho feel the aches and fever- ish, conditions that, are the, symptoms of grippe to go to bed at offce and tn. stay there until well. He advises these Ipatients to eat as little as possible, but to drink a great deal of water, and if possible lemonade and fruit jukce. It is also his opinion that victims of the epidemic are better off if treated in t heir rooms than they would be in a 1Hospital or infirmary ward. If pneu- monia develops in a ward, he explained, it is very difficult to keep every pa- tient in that ward from contracting it.
