Dr. A. H.. Reginald Buller, of the
biology 'department of the University
of Manitoba, whose papers before the
Botanical' Society of America at its
recent convention in Kansas City
caused much favorable comment, will
give a University lecture here early in
M-arch, it was announced by the bot-
any department yesterday. Ili. Bul11cr
will make a lecture tour of middle-
western universities including the Un1-,
iversities of Iowa, Chicago, Wiscon-
sin, Minnesota, and Mlichigan.
Although the lecture topic has niot
been announced it is expected that he
will discuss some phase of his re-
search work on the higher fungi. Ac-
cording to Prof. 1-1. H. Bartlett of the1
botany department who heard one of
the papers' given at the Kansas City
convention, Dr. Buller is interesting
not only because of his contributions
to science but also because he pre-
sents his material in a, way in which,
they can be understood b)y laymen.
The lecture will be interesting and
something that no one interested in
natural science should, miss," Pro-
fessor Bartlett stated. Dr. Buller is
vice-president of the Botanical Soci-
ety of America.d
