Actiial work on the handbook will begin soon after the opening of the cl-cond semester. All the copy will blprepared during the spring so that thle book~ may be printed early in the summier, and mailed to incoming stu- dents during August. The handbook staff is now conduct- ing extensive correspondence with the st-affs of similar publications in other Universities and colleges. 'By this xneans thley expect to compile statis- tics on thie methods of~ financing hand- books, the amount allotted to the var- ious departments, the method of dis- tribution, and the scope of the influ- ence of handbooks published through- cut the country.
