Wednesday Afternoon EXHIBIT WORKMANSHIP Christmas customs of old signifying various festivities will be portrayed in the pageant which is to be given at the Christmas frolic from 4 to 5:30 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at New- berry hall. It is to be conducted by the members of the Y. W. C. A., but everyone who attends will participate in it, and all women on campus are invited. Piano and violin will furnish the Christmas music at the party. A pag-' eant which will bring all of the old customs back to life will be the main feature of the program. Marguerite Dutton, '26, as the spirit of Christmas will enter and tell first of the lighting of the candles, at which time the women with . candles will place them in the windows and light them. The custom of the hanging of the green, started by the Druids will be treated next. Three Yule logs will be brought in by several of the women as Miss Dutton tells of them, and a fire will be started. After the blaze is started, Priscella Reichert as the Spirit of Ancient Fun will enter and start the festivities. One of the Y. W. C. A. committees will next tell of the benefits of the organization through the presentation of a radio skit. A final revel led by the spirit of ancient fun will end by the gathering of all present around a wassail Bowl. Mrs. L. I. Bredvold will assist' in this. Dolls and scrap books from the Christmas workshop will bekonwdis- play at the party. The work which, has been done during the last two' months is practically completed.
