"The fraternity of the past was con-I stituted of snobs," Dr. Blair s'aid, "who were exclusive and bound to- gether by secret ties. Fraternity men formerly shut out the world and look- ed only at each other. Now they are beginning to realize the new ideal of world service and are learning how to handle the great problems of life. "The fraternity today is a great na- tional force because it is composed of Souths. It has greater potentialities{ for service than any group now or- ganized to promote the welfare of 'man. Don't conisder fraternity ideals as cards to play with, but as tools for1" great world service," he plead.
