ANNOUNCES HOLIDAY BARNUET Europe Cradle Of Man, He Says 0 I ; Foreign Students Will Be Entertained At Thanksgiving Day Dinner To Be Given At Union EX-GOVERNOR TO SPEAK Foreign students on the campus will be guests at the third international Thanksgiving banquet given by the Student Christian association and Y. W. C. A. Wednesday, Nov. 25, in the assembly hall of the Union. Former Governor William Sweet of Colorado, has been secured as the principal) speaker for the occasion; Shirley Smith, secretary of the University, will be toastmaster. Music will be furnished by an orchestra composed of Chinese students. Faculty members, townspeople and American students will act as hosts to the students from foreign lands. The seating arrangement at the tables will be such as to commingle the var- ious nationalities and races so as to promote greater friendship. Invitations will be mailed out to all foreign students who are regis- tered at Lane hall. Those who have not yet done so may register next week. Students who wish to attend the banquet may obtain tickets at Lane hall at $1.50 per plate. Hutchins' Book Is Praised By Paper Dr. Henry C. Hutchins' book in the "Printing of Robinson Crusoe" was given a comprehensive and sympa- thetic review in a recent issue of the literary supplement of the London Times. Dr. Hutchins has been a mem- ber of the English department fac- ulty since the fall of 1924. The vol- tme, which was the result of ex- tended research among the various editions of the book, was printed by the Columbia University Press last; summer.
