AT BERONUETY Prof. Thomas E. Reed of the politic- al science department, was granted a leave Iof absence for the second school Isemester at the last meeting of the Board of Regents. Professor Reed has definitely de- cided to visit several countries of Europe. I-I- is to give a course of lectures at the University of Brus-1 sels on the subject "American Consti- tutional Law." These lectures will be given sometime in March, entirely in French. Professor Reed will then go to France to attend an international1 congress of administration in Paris late in the spring. During the summer he will attend an international city planning confer- ence which is to be held in Vienna. Professor. Reed- will also make a . special study of metropolitan com- munities, particularly London, Paris, Brussels, Berlin and Vienna. After- visiting other~ countries he will re- turn to America next fall in time for the opening of the University.
