For the next six weeks, on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings, there will be two discussion groups held, one from 7 to 8 o'clock and thef other from 7:30 to 8:30 o'clock. The work began last Monday when letters were sent out-to all freshmen who attended the freshman banquet on Oct. 2, urging them to form the nucleus of the discussion groups about to be formed. All freshmen on the /campus arc invited to membership inI ' the various groups and should prick the time which, is most convenient forl them to attend. :Discussions on subjects most akin to undergraduate university life will be led by upperclass men and faculty members who arc most conversant with the conditions as they exist at Michigan. Such topics as campus tra- ditions,- customs and the mechanics &nd aims of camps activities will be' among those discussed at the group meetings. Already nearly 20 leaders have been secured by the committee to lead the groups andl among them are number- ed most of the leaders of campus ac- tivities and the younger faculty inem- hers. Such men as Ralph Harlan, of the public speaking department, and 'lloward McClusky of the psychology department, will be designated by the chairman to help the incoming sim.- dents solve their problems.
