Engineering Building). C. H. Fessenden. Graduate Students in Education: The last meeting of the Educational Conference of graduate students in Education will be held Wednesday, May 13th, at 7 P. Summ er Cimp i Geology and Ge0graphy: 1. Registration. Registration blanks for the field courses in geology and geography are now available at the Registrar's office. Students, planning to attend the camp, must fill out these blanks and pay tuition as early as possible to be certain of places in the classes. The number of students in each class is limited.; as soon as this limit is reached, registration will he closed. Students, who have signed the temporary blanks for places in the field courses, must also fill out the registration blanks. 2. Inoculation Against Typhoid. Everyoneattending the camp;imust be inoculated against typhoid. The inoculation, which may be obtained at the Health Service, is given over a period of two weeks and should be started at once. 3. Circular Of Information. A circular of information regarding supplies for courses, personal equipment, mail, etc., may be obtained from the Director of the camp. G. M. Ehlers, Director. Telephone Lectures: Mr. C. S. Owen, Fundamental Plan Engineer, will deliver the next two lectures in the current series being presented by officials of the Michigan Bell Telephone Company. The first of Mr. Owen's talks will be on "Cost Studies" and will be held in Room 248 West Engineering Building, on Wednesday, May 13th, at eleven o'clock. While treated from the standpoint of the telephone engineer, this subject is a very broad one and the problems involved are similar to those met in other fields. All interested are invited to attend. M., and from 2:00 to 5:00 1. M., Thursday, May 14th, for the purpose of inter- viewing students (men and women) who are seeking employment for sum- 'mer vacation. J. A. Bursey. Central League Debate Try-Outs: Try-outs for the Intercollegiate Debating Class will be held at nine o'clock Saturday morning, May 16th, in Room 302 Mason Hall. All under- graduate men students who will be eligible to participate in campus activi- ties during the first semester of next year may compete for admission to this class. Approximately fifteen men will be selected from which the. two WNW University debating teams will be chosen to represent the University in the Central League debates. The try-outs will consist of a five minute speech on eitherside of the following question: "Resolved, That the proposed Child-Labor Amendment to the National Constitution should be adopted by the United States." To 3ieniers of the University of Michigan Band: I The Band will assemble tonight at 6:45 at the Band Headquarters in full uniform, to Include capes, for the weekly concert to be held on the Library steps in conjuncion with the first senior sing. The annual election of the Band will be held at this meeting, and it Is urgently desired that every member of the Band be present. Every member of the Band who has served the Varsity Band for one year is requested to drop his name and size for a sweater in the suggestion box at Morris Hal, and all men who, here previously designated to be awarded charms should check up their name on the list on the Bulletin board.
