Till tl 1 D Y, IATR. 1 a,1925= New In lander OnSale Now The February issue of the Inland- er, campus literary magazine, whilh features "The Dark River," a storyII by Hasseltine Bourland, '2, appleared yesterday, and may be obtained at the bookstores and i the lohby of Angell hail. Miss Bourland, although a native of the state of Michigan, has spent then last two ,year; in traveling through Europe; and it was (during this time that she conceived the idea of the story of "The Dark iver,"the action "of which takes place in H-ungary dur- ing and after the war period. Two poems by Mis Ruth Lechlit-3 ner, grad., a former member of theI staff of the Inlander, are reprinted by permission of the Midland, a nation- al literary magazine. One is entitled "Aspens" and the other "The Water Fall." Other pieces in the issue are; the work of Leo C. Turner, Dorothy Tyler, '26, Ellis R. Martin, '25, and Sue Grundy Banner, '27, who has re- cently been appointed to the board of editors. Miss Bonner also contri- butes a play, "escape," which wx ,, presented here last spring by the Playmakers' Playhouse. John W. ,Gunn, '25, is the author of a short story entitled "The Light on the IS- land." The fossil :remains are unusn- ally complete, oly approximately one-tenth of the skeleton requiring: plaster restoration.
