Re~sides the members of the high school team Captain Herb Steger and six of the coaching staff of the Michi- gan teams will also be guests of the' Chamber. Coachees Little,. Weiman, Baker, Mather, and Fishcor will all give three' minute speeches, and Mayor George R. Lewis willl then present the m em-; besof the Purple and. White team with the. gold football charms which are to take the place of letters this year. The program will be rounded' out by selections by the high school orchestra, and by. a solo by Frank Ryan, also of the high school. Thle. Ann Arbor team has completed three of the most successful years of its _history,' having lost only three games during, this time. During the past year the Purple and White teams scored 242 poi'nts against 55 for op- pponents. The purpose of the banquet is to show that the business men are behind their highr school as well as their university, .and. to give oppor- tunity, for. the -expressions of appre- ciation for: the record made by the home team during the past year.
