Michigan's intramural basketball
season will open Dec. 1 when compe-
tition between all school teams will
commence at Waterman gymnasium.
Seven leagues including teams repre-
senting the following units will com-
pete: Classes, fraternities, societies,
independents, churches, freshmanr
groups, and the R. O. T. C. unit. Man-
agers of the varioius units are request-
ed to enter their teams at the intra-j
mural offices. .
Providing athletic activity for the
largest number of university students
involved in a single sport, intramural
basketball will find even a greaterI
number of entries this year accordingI
to ,advance indications. Practice ses-
sions for all teams have been as-
signed on Monday; Tuesday, Wednes-
day, and Thursday night from 61
o'clock until 10 o'clock, the scheduleM
to start Dec. 1. Play will commence
after Christmas vacation. Teams de-
siring court space for practice must
make reservations at the Intramural
office.
