Notice to All Faculty Members:
At the meeting of the Regents held February 25, 1921, the Board made the
purchase of an annuity in the Teacher's Insurance and Annuity Association
of America, a condition of employment in the case of all members of the
Faculties thereafter engaged except instructors of less than three years'
standing, with whom such purchase is optional.
Members of the Faculties and others connected with the University can
obtain at the office of the Secretary of the University full information con-
cerning their privileges and responsibilities with respect to life annuities.
Specimen policies, rate books, and reports of the Teachers' Insurance and
Annuity Association are on file for distribution. Ask for Mr. Buckley, As-
sistant Secretary.
The University will contribute equally with the members of the Faculty,
within certain limits, to the provision of the old age annuity. The faculty
member thus purchasing an annuity receives under such conditions 100 per
cent upon his contribution plus 4 per cent per annum on the entire sum in-
volved, and these accumulations are non-forfeitable to him in any case.

League of Nations :ion-Pa1itisan Association:,
Prof. William A. Prayer of the History Department will speak on, "The
League of Nations as a Non-Partisan Issue" at the next meeting of the
League of Nations Study Group, at 7:45 o'clock Tuesday night, Nov. 11, in
Room 318-320, Union. Members of the Association and all others interested'

University of Michigan Band:
Formation this afternoon at 1:30 at the band headquarters to play for the
Nor"'hwestern game. Full dress uniforms with capes and black shoes.

The Seniors of the School of Education are giving an informal party to-
night (Saturday, November 8, 1924,) at nine o'clock in the gymnasium of

The annual meeting for enrollment with the Bureau of Appointments will
take place at 10 o'clock Saturday morning, November 8th, in the Auditorium
of Newberry Hall. It is very important that all seniors and graduate students
who expect to enroll with the Bureau this year should attend. Enrollment
at this time is free but a charge of one dollar is required for late registra-
