Publications Seholarship Prizes: The Board in Control of Student Publications, in order to foster a higher standard of scholarship among those engaged in work upon the s~udent pub- lications,' is offering three annual cash prizes amounting to $500 (a first prize of $250, a second prize of $150 and a third prize of $100) to those main- ,taing the highest scholarship records while working n the several publica- tions. The prizes will be awarded each year between the opening of sool and the Christmas vacation. To be eligible for a prize a student must have done satisfactory work on some" one publication or publications, for at least four semesters. The work need not, however, have been continuous. Any stu dept niow in the University who wishes to be considered as eligible for one of the prizes to be awarded this fall is requested to fill out a blank for that purpose, which may be obtained at the Publications Office in the Press Building. Only those who file applications will be considered. All applica- tions mast be filed on or before November 15, 1924. additional information in regard to the prizes may be obtained at the Publications Office. Board In 'Control of Stilelt Puiblications.
