There will be a conference of the Deans on Wednesday, October 15, at ten
o'clock in the President's office. M. L. Burton.
All freshmen in the Literary College, who were granted the privilege of
applying for advanced credit for post graduate work in high school, should
make application at the office of the registrar, Wednesday, October 15th,
from 10-11 a. m. and 3-5 p. m. A. G. Hall.
Health Lectures for Women:
All freshman and entering sophomore woman are required to attend six
health lectures to be given in Sarah Caswell Angell Hall at 44 o'clock, as
follows:

For freshmen-Tuesday, Oct. 14th.
For entering sophomores-Thursday, Oct. 16th.
Lecture II.
For freshmen-Tuesday, Oct. 21st.

School of Education Students To Elect Officers:
The students of the Junior and Senior classes will elect class officers Wed-
nesday, October 15, at 4:10 p. m. The Juniors will meet in room 206, Tappan
Hall, and the Seniors in room 203, Tappan Hall.

Geology 2:
For those who missed the regular final examination in Geology 2 at the
end of the second semester last year, there will be a make-up examination
Tuesday, October 21, at 3 p. in., in Room G437, Natural Science Building.

Geology 2:
All students who received incompletes in Geology 2 last year will please
see me some time this week in regard to making up the work missed. I
shall be in Room G127 Natural Science Building Wednesday, 9 to 10, and
Tuesday and Thursday from 10 to 11. I. 1. Gould.
Summer Field Courses in Geology and Geography:
Reports of students, who attended the courses in Geology and Geography
at Mill Springs, Kentucky, must be in the hands of the instructors by Octo-
ber 23rd if credit is to be given for this work.

Dr. 11. C. Cooper, Scientific Director of the firm of laucr & Black, Chicago,
will lecture Thursday, October 16, at 8 p. in. in the auditorium of the Natural
Science Building on "Pharmacy and First Aid." The lecture will be illustra-
ted by lantern slides and motion pictures. All students and the gneraz

The first meeting of the current year of the Prescott club will be heldE

League of Nations Non-Partisan Association:
The first meeting of the League of Nations Study Group will be helh at
7:45 o'clock Tuesday night, Oct. 14, in Room 318-320 of the Union. Professors
Reeves and Slosson will speak. Members of the Association last year anti
any others interested in the League of Nations, are invited to attend.

Season Tickets Oratorical Association Program:
The sale of the second preference season tickets for the Oratorical As
sociation Program will be held this afternoon in the Box Office of Hill
Auditorium from 1:30 to 5:30 o'clock. These tickets consist of all those not
sold in first choice among which are some very desirable locations. This
afternoon will be the last opportunity to obtain these tickets.

Adelphi:
The Adelphi House of Representatives will meet Tuesday evening at 7:30
in their rooms on the fourth floor of the new literary luilding. All men
interested in public speaking are cordially invited to attend and participate

Circolo Italiano:
There will be a meeting of the "Il Circolo Italiano" Wednesday evening at
17:30 p. m., in Room 202SW. All interested are cordially invited to attend.

Cercle Francals:
There will'be a business meeting of the Cercle Francais Tuesday, Octber
14, at 7:00 p. m., in Room 202 South Wing.

Graduate English Club:
The first meeting of the Graduate English Club will take place at 8 p. m.,
on Wednesday, Oct 15, at the Newberry Residence. In addition to election
of officers for the current year, Professor Gingerich will present a paper
entitled "Three Conceptions of Beauty-Shelley, Keats and Poe." All grad-
uate students working in Rhetoric or English are cordially invited to be

Mtathematichl Club:
A regular meeting will be held in Room 3003 New Literary Building, this
evening at 8:30 o'clock. Election of officers. Professor Carver will present a
paper, "Expansion of Omega Functions." All persons interested are cordially

The Johns Hopkins Alumni:
The provost of the Johns Hopkins University expects to visit Ann Arbor
in the near future and is desirous of meeting all alumni of the University.
Therefore, it is requested that they send to me as soon as possible their
