Spanish 31: Mr. Hootkins' class in Spanish 31 at 9:00, which has been meeting in Room 403SW, will meet beginning today in Room 100, south corridor of South Wing. Hirsch Hootkins. Zoology I: Seat numbers for the lecture are posted near the door to Room Z-234, Natural Science Building. Members of the class should ascertain their num- bers, as early as possible, then go to the lecture room long in advance to ascertain where their seats are. Otherwise much confusion and delay will result from hunting the seats at the beginning of the lecture. The seating list will be removed at 10:50 a. m. Tuesday, and there will be no way of ascer- taining the numbers after that time. A. Franklin Shull- No Twilight Organ Recital: The regular organ recital will be omitted Wednesday of this week on ac- count of the concert that afternoon under the auspices of the Matinee Musicale. Charles A. Sink, Secretary. Oratorical Board: There will be an important meeting of the Board Wednesday at 4:30 o'clock in Room 3211, Literary Bldg. Attendance of all members is urged. Millard H. Pryor, President. Oxford Debate: The first International Debate between Michigan and Oxford will be held in Hill Auditorium Wednesday night at 8:00 o'clock. Tickets will go on sale that night at 7:15 in the Box Office-price 50 cents. A special effort should be made to be seated before the time scheduled so that the debate can begin promptely. Millard H. Pryor Oresident Oratorical Association. Oratorical Association Program Season Tickets: In order to avoid confusion, the sale of season tickets for the Oratorical Association Program for 192425 which was scheduled for this afternoon, will be held tomorrow afternoon in the Box Office of Hill Auditorium from 1:30 to 5:30 o'clock. This will be the last opportunity given to purchase first preference seats at $3.50. James J. Dunn, Treasurer. Varsity Glee Club: Further tryouts for the G-lee Club will be held by Mr. Harrison today in Room 308 Michigan Union from 4:30 to 5:30 and from 7 to 9. First tenors are especially needed, but there are a few places for other voices. Sign up at 4 o'clock. Carl B. Schoonmaker, Manager. University Extempore Contest: The general subject for the first semester contest will be "National Is- sues and the Presidential Campaign." Tryouts will be held Oct. 18, at which time seven contestants will be chosen to compete in the final contest. Speeches will be, four minutes in length and may cover any phase of the general subject. A prize of merit will be awarded the winner of the final contest. Delta Sigma Rho members are inelegible for this contest. All stu- dents interested in public speaking are urged to tryout. W. C.
