ELECTRIC PHOTO SERVCE'
The University is to receive the
elecrical p~hoto news service design-
ed especially for distribution to col-I
leges, which is now being supplied
to 97 colleges and univrstis
throughout the United States by tm'
General Electrical company.
The service should pro0v of espe-
cial interest to students of electric-
al engineering, since it will inclde
photographs of new developments in
the electrical industry, suppl'emnoted
by a short description of th picture.
Tfhe first photograph in the series
shows what is claimed to lbe the larg-
est comnpound turblin e generator ever
constructed:, the 60,000 kilowatt gen-!
cr'ator' built for the Commonwealth
Edison company, of Chicago.
Thle lpictures will be changed twice
each month.
