To Fraternities, Sororities, and Organizations:
A list of officers for the present year is desired by the office of the Dean of
Students. J. A. Bursley.
Senior Women:
All Senior women on campus are asked to be the guests of the University
at tea, Thursday afternoon, October second, at four olclock, at the Martha
Cook Building. Jean Hamilton, Dean of Women.
Executive Board, Graduate School:
There will be a meeting of the Executive Board of the Graduate School on
Thursday, October 2, at 4:00 p, m. A. H. Lloyd.
Graduite Students:
Students who have not filed an election card for the present semester in
the office of the Graduate School, Room 9, University Hall, should do so by
Thursday, October 2.
Students who have made a change in their original elections and have not
reported this to the office of -the Graduate School should do so at once.

All University Women:
A mass meeting of all University women will be held on Thursday evening,
October 2, at 7:45 in University Hall. At this meeting, President Burton
will address the women, taking as his subject, "What Is Worth While?" All
women are urged to attend this first meeting for women in this school year.
Miss Hamilton's lecture to entering upper class women will be held in
this same room promptly at 7 o'clock to enable the group to hear President
Burton at 7:45.

-All students expecting to enroll with the Bureau of Appointments in
November should make arrangements to have their photographs taken as
soon as possible. Four small unmounted photographs are required.

New Pharmacy Students:
All students entering the College of Pharmacy for the first time must be
present for the Mental Test to be given in Room 400 of the new University
High School at 3 p. ni., Thursday, October 2nd. Please enter this building
by way of West entrance on Haven Ave. Your presence at this examination

the initial meeting of Pi Lambda Kap-
pa, national honorary educational so-
ciety for women, held last night in
the library of Martha Cook building.
Muriel Fox, '25, is president of the,
Ann Arbor chapter of the organiza-
tion.
Daughters of the American Revolu-
tion will assemble in Milwaukee, Wis.,
Oct. 2, to pay homage to Mrs. Louise
Thiers of that city, who is the oldest
Daughter of the American Revolution.

There will be a meeting of Alpha Nu Debating Society tonight at 7:30 in
our rooms on the fourth floor of University Hall. All Freshmen and others
who are interested in Public Speaking are invited to attend.

October 2n4, for the purpose of arranging a program of event: for the

Gun and Blade Club:
There will be a postponed meeting of the Gun and Blade Club on Thurs-
day, Oct. 2, at 7:00 p. m., in Room 302, Michigan Union. It is especially urged
that all Veterans Bureau men attend. There will be election of officers.
Present problems of trainees will be discussed and action taken.

Mathematical Club:
A special meeting will be held this evening at eight o'clock in Room 401
Mason Hall. Dr. James Uspensky, a member of the Russian Academy of
Sciences, Professor at the University of Petrograd, and an authority on the
Theory of Numbers, will present a pap er "On Certain Theorems connected
with the Distribution of Residues and Non-residues of Powers." All persons
