Tryouts for Masques' annual play, "A Thousand Years Ago" to be
given in Hill Auditorium, November 20, will be held in Sarah Caswell An-
gell Hall Wednesday and Thursday, October 3 and 4 from 3 to 5 o'clock.
Only active members of the organization may try out. Copies of the play
will be found in the Upper Study Hall at the Library.

Tryouts for the University Glee Clubs will be held this evening from,
7:00-9:00 and tomorrow afternoon from 3:00-5:00 in Room 308, third floor,
of the Union. John Ill. Russell, Manager.
Junior Research Club:
The first meeting of the school year will be held in F426, Science Build-
ing Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 8:00 P. M. Alfred L. Nelson, Pres.
Romance Club:
The regular monthly luncheon of the Romance staff will be held at the
Union, Wednesday, October 3, at 12:15, Room 319. A. G. Canfield.
Phi Sigma:
The first meeting of the year with installation of officers will be held
In Room Z 242 N. S. on Wednesday Oct. 3 at 7:30 p. in. Prof. P. B. Had-
ley will speak on "The D'Herelle Phenomenon". All members are requested

(Parking Rule:
No cars may be parked anywhere on the campus without official park-
ing permit attached to each license plate. The Superintendent of Buildings
and Grounds will enforce this rule. By order of the Regents.

Freshmen and Entering Upperclass Women:
All girls who failed to attend the first lecture of the series on Campus
Organizations, attendance at which is compulsory, are requested to report
to me after the lectures next week. The work of the first lecture must be
made up.
Girls may report at any one of the three followings hours:
Tuesday, October 2nd, 4:00 P. M.
Tuesday, October 2nd, 7:00 P. M.
Thursday, October 4th, 4:00 P. M.
The lectures take place in Sarah Caswell Angell Hall in Barbour

R. 0. T. C. Advanced Students:
All men in the Advanced Course who have not received made to order
uniforms will be measured at the R. 0. T. C. Office, Wednesday between 9:00
A. M. and 5:00 P. M. This will probably be your opportunity to se-

Gibbons ought to be able to out-
point;Wills. Fred Fulton outboxed the
big black over in Jersey. After a poor
start in the first round Fulton came
back in the second and made Wills
look like an ordinary heavyweight,
but in the third The plasterer received
a wallop in the body and took the can-
vas.
