To Make the Ball Fascinating
Lights and music-and lovely frocks, How successful they will make the
Panhellenic Ball! Shimmering gowns that ripple softly with every move-
ment of the wearers-soft lights that cast bewitching shadows over the scene
glittering jewels and head bands-the whole gaining effectiveness against
the blac-and-white of the men's attire-make a picture not easily forgotten.
The Gowns must be festive-and becoming. For some there are the crisp
little taffeta frocks, pastel shades trimmed with black velvet in French-like

Metal ribbons are used for the
wide head bands that are so much
in vogue just now. These beauti-
ful ribbons come in silver, gold and
colors and add a glittering note to
the costume that accentuates its
beauty.
Sparkling Combs

For the girl who does not wear
a wide head band there are nar-
row bands of metal leaves, sparkl-
ing stones, or flowers. Glittering
combs are used in high coiffures.
Earrings and bracelets need not be
expensive, but if you choose them
here, they will be effective and in
good taste.

Lingerie is unseon, to be sure,
but it must be dainty and fine if
it is to serve its purpose in pro-
