All; reports are loud in their praise of the Conmodores and as near as can be gathered, Coach Dan McGugin has atnother one of his championship team s. Vanderbilt has not lost a game of -football in two years and was the only team last year to hold Michigan scoreless. Most of the McGugin veter- ans are back this year and if advance informaton is correct, the Conmmo- dores will give the Yostmen one of the hardest battles of the year. Word has been received in Ann Ar-I bor that the Tennesseans are follow- I ing their team to Ann Arbor in great numzibers and one or more special trains w.ill be provided for the trip from NasbvilIe., it is expected that more than four-fifths of the Vanderbilt student body will be iQ the stands when the opening whistle is blown. Coach Mcugin is pointing his squad for the Michigan encounter and "Seat Michigan" has become a by-word on the Vanderbilt campus. Intramural Items Entries for the var'ious events which will be carried on by the Intramural department this fall began to arrive slojwly yesterday afternoon.
