Conceded to be the largest field house in the country, the new structure on Ferry field is the culmination
of long efforts towards obtaining a suitable structure for the housing of Michigan athletes and athletic activities.
The building is named after Fielding H. Yost, director of intercollegiate athletics, who for 22 years has piloted the
Varsity teams.
