ADVENTURES IN ESSAY

To Students Enrolled in School of Education:
An assembly of all students in the School of Education will be held at
4:65 o'clock, October 12th in Room 203, Tappan Hall. At this time Pro-
fessor Charles McMurry of Peabody College will.address. the group. At the
adjournment of the assembly, the senior and junior classes will be organ-
ized under direction of the Student Council and election of officers for the
school year will take place. C. 0. Davis.
College of Pharmacy Faculty:
There will be a faculty meeting of the College of Pharmacy Friday aft-
ernoon, October 12 at 4 o'clock in Room 212 Chemistry Building.

History 2A:
The deferred examination for students in History 2a, given the second
semester of last year will be held Saturday morning from 9 to 12, October
20, in Room 204, Tappan Hall. E. R. Turner.
Ushers, Oratorical Association:
Ushers for the Lecture Course are expected to be at Hill Auditorium, for
the opening lecture on Friday evening, at seven o'clock to familiarize them-
selves with their sections and duties. Entrance may be obtained by the
rear door. Wilfrid Hocking, Chairman, Usher Committee.
Players Club:
The Work Shop will be open from 3:00 until 5:30 'today. Anyone wish-
ing to become a member may do, so at this time.

Oratorical Association Lecture:
Ex-Governor Frank O. Lowden will speak on the subject, "Organization
of Government," tonight at 8 o'clock in Hill Auditorium. The audience is
