versity. There are only a few women
editors of daily newspapers in thec
country anld fewer still of college dail-
ies. College men have heretofore meld1
a monopoly of this pos-itioin, but Miss
Samuelson will overtu _rn this tradi-
tion when she becomeos etitor-in-

The Iowan is one of the two largest3
college dailies in the country. it is,
published every 'dlay but Monday
throughout the year, has a full leased
