completed preliminary arrangements
for the staging of three tournaments,
to be held the last week in March or
the first week in April, one for wrest-#
lers, one for fencers and the other for
those interested in gymnastics.
The first tournament is for all
Freshmen interested in wrestling.
The matches will be governed by
Western Conference rules as far as
possible, and matches will be held in
all weights. All Freshmen desirous
of entering this tournament should
report to Coach Botchen on Monday,
Wednesday and Friday of each week,
in Waterman gymnasium in order to
be properly trained fbr the tourna-
ment. Proper ensignia will be award-
ed to the winners in all classes.
An All-campus fencing tournament
is also listed. The tournament will
be in foil fencing but if enough men
are interested in saber fencing an-
other tournament will be held. Coach-

tice hours for all students conteni-

hours are at 4 o'clock on Wednesday
and at 11 o'clock Saturday morning{
at Waterman gymnasium.
The third tournament will be for
gymnasts and tumblers. Work will
be done on the parallel bars, the hori-
zontal bar and the side horse. Dick
Schulz and the other assistants in
Waterman gymnasium will help any-
one wishing special preparation. En-
signia will also be awarded in this
tournament, as well as in the fenc-
ing tournament.j
Entry lists for these tournaments
have been posted on the bulletin board
in Waterman gymnasium and students
are requested to enter and begin the
necessary preparation for the re-
spective events as soon as possible.a
