Although the men had to combat a snappy wind that at times interfered materially with the play, the matches were replete in good tennis. The city racqueteers, all of them experiencedj tournament players, put up a sure and! steady game, providing excellent prac- tice for the Wolverine court-men who were forced to rely for points on thei own shots rather than the misplays of their opponents.
