M. C. A., for the benefit of the Uni- versity of Michigan League building fund. The sale is being conducted un- der the auspices of the residents of Helen Newberry dormitory. Collections for' clothes will be made at all league houses, dormitories and sororities on April 28. Faculty mem- 1 bers' houses will be solicited also. Local stores and those of large neigh- boring towns will be asked to con- tribute for the sale, and alumnae of the University have been reached through letters and personal solicit- ing done during Easter vacation. Pre- vious to the sale downtown, a smaller one will be conducted on April 30, in the basement of Helen Newberry resi- dence, for the benefit of those Univer- sity women who may be interested.' DELEGATES ATTEND CONGRESS SLEAERSHIP COMMISSION ORGANIZED BY Y. .CA Formation or a leadership commis- sion for new women on the campus,I has been undertaken by the Univer- sity Y. W. C. A. as a new part of the work of that association. Twenty en- tering women were appointed to mem- bership in the commission. These wo- men were chosen because of their in- terest in campus lire, ability to work with other people, and interest in the work of the Y. W. C. A. The purpose of the commission is to give the members an opportunity of discussing the meaning of leadership and the development of the individual* as a leader.
